Rape and sexual assault has no social boundaries and impacts on everyone in society and can happen anywhere and to anyone.
Men can also be victims of rape and sexual assault and the effects on them are just as devastating.
Few people even realise that male rape exists. So a man who is trying to come to terms with sexual assault can feel like there is nowhere to turn. These are issues that concern many victims of sexual assault and it can be helpful to talk to someone, like one of our crisis workers, about this and other fears or worries you may have.
The Blue Sky Centre is open to men and women of all ages. The majority of our Crisis Workers are female but there is a male Crisis Worker available should an individual prefer to be supported by a male.
